  Very nice easy going people, quite place with a nice view. Breakfast was superb. Loved our short stay here! We got perfect advice for the rest of our trip. They have bikes for you to go to the beach with. Definitely worth our time here!

  Nous étions comme à la maison avec la chambre Goyave, 2 chambres, entrée séparée, salle de bain privative, une literie de qualité et une propreté irréprochable. Le jardin est très luxuriant avec des fruits à portée de main... et la piscine est très agréable.

  Les hôtes nous ont comblés, petits déjeuners très copieux, repas à goûter absolument (grillades de poissons de Laurent ou porc au caramel de Virginie, …), le tout fait maison avec le sourire, accompagné de légumes et fruits du jardin pour un tarif tout à fait convenable et avec vue sur mer ! Les indications des villages aux alentours à ne pas manquer, restos branchés, bonnes tables, spécialités sur la plage (espeto de sardinas, …), ça les connait n'hésitez pas à leur demander.

  We have spent 5 days in this charming place and had a great holiday, thanks to the super helpful, attentive and friendly hosts Virginie and Lolo, a French couple that owns this gem of a house, close to Torrox Costa. We slept in their 'outside room' under the stars which is lovely, due to it's large private terrace and the comfy big bed, from which we could watch a stunning sunrise and sunset over the sea. The property is beautiful, surrounded by fruit trees, a terrace for relaxing and a very different atmosphere to the overly touristy and crowded city center. Our room and private bathroom was clean and well-equipped with all amenities. We also enjoyed the refreshing experience of floating around in the (usually empty) pool while sipping a cool drink or reading one of the offered books. The freshly-prepared breakfast, consisting of croissants, baguette, homade jams, crêpes, freshly pressed juice, warm french toast, fruit, coffee, tea, cold cuts, cheese, various home-made savery snacks and sweat treats was just amazing and so much that even my boyfriend was more than pleased (and he eats for three :D). We also ordered some of the home-made tapas for lunch. They were delicious and extremely fair-priced, as were the drinks you can buy. They have a little pet-bird called Loulou and a friendly dog called Jazz, that is very obedient and knows not to bother anyone that might be afraid of dogs. We were delighted that we could bring our own dog free of charge and that they even offered to care for him while we were out in the city. The beach and shopping amenities are easy to reach by car within 4 minutes. They also have bikes available, if you prefer that. The only minus point is that the property is located close to the street so you have traffic noise (we got used to that after a day though and used oropax for sleeping in our outdoor room). The free WiFi works great in the house, the terrace and the three inside rooms. Since our room was a bit further away, the WiFi reach is not the best but sufficient for the occasional WhatsApp, email, etc. All in all Casa Rural Paloma is a very personal, welcoming and peaceful place for a bit of extra attention and privacy.
